Manifesting, it’s the term that seems to pop up everywhere these days, but what does it actually mean?
On this week’s The Mind Full Podcast, I’m digging into the science behind manifesting, looking beyond the fluffy ideas to understand what really works when setting and achieving big goals. And who better to guide us than two powerhouse guests who live the science of manifesting in different ways, Will Ahmed, the CEO and founder of the groundbreaking health tech brand WHOOP, and Dr. Sabina Brennan, a neuroscientist and author of The Neuroscience of Manifesting.
With Will, we dive into the practical realities of building an empire from scratch, staying resilient, and overcoming self-doubt. Meanwhile, Dr. Brennan gives us a science-backed approach to manifesting so that we can set achievable goals without the need for crystals or wishful thinking. So if you’re ready to learn what real manifesting is all about and get inspired to chase your own dreams, keep reading.

For this extra special bonus-length live episode, I’m joined by Comedians and Actors Willa White and Eric Lalor. The lads sit down with me on stage at the fantastic Púca Festival in Trim, Co. Meath to talk about their very unique experiences with mental struggles, the power of friendship, life lessons and a home birth that went very very weird!
Willa White is living proof that you can come back from anything — with a bit of reflection, a lot of humour, and the kind of honesty that stops you in your tracks. He’s battled addiction, transformed his life, and now uses laughter and his award-winning acting chops— not just as punchlines, but as a path to healing. His hugely successful and powerful one man show the Examination has played in theatres across the world and, in recent times, he sold out both the 3Olympia Theatre and The Gaiety Theatre (the first comedian to do so in over 10 years), making him the first Irish man to play the venue since it was built back in 1939.
Eric is a multi award-winning comedian and his latest one man show, Lol’er By Nature was a sell out success at Dublin’s Liberty Hall Theatre. You also might know him as the loveable rogue Cathal Spillane from Fair City but off-screen and stage he’s one of the funniest, soundest, and most razor-sharp comedians in the country.
Check out one of Willa’s Work in Progress shows on the 18th & 19th June in the Axis Theatre in Ballymun, in the National Stadium in Dublin on Aug 2nd, or on Oct 1st in the TLT, Drogheda. Make sure you tune into the lads’ award-winning You Must Be Jokin’ podcast and follow @ericlalor and @willawhitecomedy on Instagram.

A Chat with Will Ahmed, Founder of WHOOP
WHOOP is a name you might recognise if you’re into fitness or wellness, but the story behind it is even more inspiring. I first met Will Ahmed at WHOOP’s headquarters in Boston. WHOOP started as an idea Will had as a young man at Harvard. He wanted to create a device that would help people better understand their bodies and improve their health. Fast-forward to now, and WHOOP is worn by top athletes, from Cristiano Ronaldo to Rory McIlroy and LeBron James, and valued at nearly £4 billion.
During our chat, Will opened up about what it’s like to take a vision and turn it into reality through sheer determination. He shared some real insights into how to keep pushing forward, even when the odds seem stacked against you. From overcoming early anxieties to dealing with corporate giants like Amazon, Will’s journey with WHOOP is a testament to resilience, focus, and a little bit of faith. His take on manifesting? It’s all about doing the hard work and staying connected to your core purpose.
For Will, meditation and mindfulness play a significant role in managing stress and staying grounded. We also chatted about how these practices contribute to his success in business, a lesson I think we can all benefit from, especially if you’re juggling multiple priorities.

Dr. Sabina Brennan on the Neuroscience of Manifesting
Manifesting doesn’t have to be about ‘good vibes only’, it can actually be rooted in science. Dr. Sabina Brennan, a neuroscientist, psychologist, and best-selling author, brings a refreshing, no-nonsense approach to the topic. Her new book, The Neuroscience of Manifesting, takes us through the nuts and bolts of how our brain processes goals and how we can use these insights to bring about meaningful changes in our lives.
Dr. Brennan explains that manifesting is less about visualising a specific outcome and more about rewiring how we think and behave. She breaks down concepts like neural plasticity and cognitive flexibility, which might sound intimidating but are really about training your brain to make changes. For those of us who feel a bit ‘stuck’ or are ready for a change, whether it’s in your career, relationships, or health, Dr. Brennan’s insights offer a path forward grounded in real science, not just wishful thinking.
Practical Takeaways for Real Manifesting
Both of this week’s guests bring their own unique insights, but there’s one common thread, manifesting is about taking concrete steps towards your goals. Will Ahmed’s story shows us the importance of perseverance, while Dr. Sabina Brennan provides the tools to start rewiring your mindset in practical ways.
So, if you’ve got a dream on the back burner, maybe it’s time to stop waiting and start acting. The science of manifesting is about more than just hoping; it’s about believing in your potential and doing the work to make it happen. Listen to the episode for more, and let’s start taking those steps together.
Ready to learn how to take control of your future? Tune into this week’s episode of The Mind Full Podcast with Will Ahmed and Dr. Sabina Brennan for real strategies on making your dreams a reality.

This week I’m joined by Sexologist, Educator and quite possibly Ireland’s most joyful advocate for pleasure – Jenny Keane.
Having first featured on The Mind Full Podcast last year in Season One, Jenny is making a welcomed return to the series. Jenny communicates the topic of pleasure in a wonderfully accessible and articulate way. So it’s no wonder why her workshops are so popular and why her live shows always sell out in an instant!
This week, we’re talking about why pleasure has fallen off of the To-Do List and how to bring it firmly back. Jenny and her creation Oh! Moment has a commitment to enhancing sexual wellbeing through holistic sex education workshops, events, body-safe sex toys and more. Jenny uses a trauma-informed approach and, with her PhD studies in clinical sexology, enriches the content and practices she shares with such delightful ease and humour.
So, if your libido has gone into hibernation or your idea of foreplay is syncing Google Calendars, this episode is for you – it’s about making time for what matters, starting with ourselves!
